Anyone looking at the façade of the new building on Gasstraat will see a structure with the allure of a multinational company. The building previously served as the headquarters of Organon, later MSD, in Oss. However, due to reorganizations, the building became vacant. Brabant Wonen and Brabant Zorg, together with the building owner and MSD, have signed a lease agreement with the adjustment of the existing lease contract with MSD, under very favorable conditions.

COLLABORATION AND SHARING KNOWLEDGE

Anyone who steps into the building today will quickly notice that it has been transformed into an innovative office environment for the organizations Brabant Wonen and Brabant Zorg. The design was realized based on the ideas and ambitions of both organizations. Sustainability plays an important role, as does a certain level of simplicity. Not without reason, much of the material from the existing building has been reused, including the interior walls, ceilings, and loose furnishings.
Colleagues from Brabant Wonen and Brabant Zorg worked closely with M+R Interior Architecture to thoroughly study the building. The DNA of both organizations needed to be tangible. During co-creation sessions, we explored the best solutions. What are the possibilities? How can we best configure and adapt the building? And what is necessary to successfully bring the two organizations together and optimize their synergy?
Concentration and Interaction
An office is no longer necessary solely as a workplace. However, meeting each other is. The new building is designed to facilitate knowledge sharing and encounters to the fullest. Everything is aimed at optimizing collaboration and knowledge sharing. As a result, the building has transformed from a traditional "cell office" into an innovative, open, and flexible environment. The level of concentration and interaction required for your work at any given moment determines where you work within the building. The deeper you go into the building, the quieter it becomes. On the third floor, you will find the "eat-work café" with an outdoor terrace. It’s a place for meetings, work, client encounters, and of course, a bite to eat.
